Mount dmg files in windows 7. Either way, however, it appears as though you would have to perform some form of conversion since you're using Windows to access the dmg disk image archive. It comes as freeware, and has a decent set of options and features. To mount/manipulate the DMG without conversion, you could use HFSExplorer.

- It is important to note that items with a magic attack bonus such as the Ahrim's robetop do not boost your max hit, just your accuracy. Similarly, items with a magic defence bonus, such as the black d'hide body don't affect the maximum damage you will take from spells, just your opponent's accuracy.
- Prayers such as Mystic Will, Mystic Lore, Mystic Might, and Augury only increase accuracy, not max hit.

Charge is a spell which temporarily increases the maximum damage of the three God spells by 10 (providing the player is wearing the corresponding god cape). The spell requires a Magic level of 80.
Magic Dart[editedit source]

Magic Dart is a spell that increases in damage the higher the player's Magic level is. At 50, the base maximum hit is 15 and at 99 it is 19 (20 if boosts are used). However, it can only be cast by a slayer's staff, its enchanted version or a (toxic) staff of the dead.
The damage is significantly increased if an enchanted Slayer's staff is used to cast the spell while on task. At 75 (the minimum to wield the enchanted staff), the base maximum hit is 25, and at 99 it is 29, up to 31 if an imbued heart boosts from 99 to 108.
Salamanders[editedit source]
Salamanders can be used to attack using Magic. The maximum hit increases with the player's Magic level. black salamanders, the strongest salamander, has a base maximum hit of 17 at 70, and at 99 it is 24, up to 27 if an imbued heart boosts from 99 to 108.
Trident of the seas/swamp[editedit source]
Tridents work differently to other staves. The damage is dependent on the player's Magic level, like Magic Dart.

Ranged Strength is one of the Equipment Stats. As of 31 July2014, Ranged Strength is shown on the equipment screen. This article is intended to remove confusion as to which ammunition deals more damage. One example is iron bolts versus bone bolts; the Ranged Strength stat shows that bone bolts are better, even though their level requirement for use is lower. The only four weapons which provide a Ranged Strength bonus are the Toxic blowpipe, which uses darts as ammunition, the Twisted bow, which can use arrows up to dragon, the Crystal bow, which makes its own arrows, and the Heavy ballista, which provides +15 Ranged Strength bonus. Darts, knives, chinchompas and red chinchompas are examples of other projectiles, which provide their own Ranged Strength bonus and are equipped to weapon slot. The Necklace of anguish and Ava's assembler are the only other pieces of equipment that provide a Ranged Strength bonus.
Below are the ranged bonuses of ammunition. Note that damage is also affected by the speed of the weapon used. Rune knives deal damage very quickly, despite having a max hit of less than 20 damage. For this reason, most ranged weapons are better used in rapid stance. Accurate stance will deal more damage per hit, but it is not worth the decreased speed. If accuracy is needed, a slower weapon such as a crossbow will provide the needed improvement, while dealing more damage to compensate for its slower speed.
Because cannonballs are fired from a dwarf cannon, and not directly from a cannon, they do not have a Ranged Strength stat. Cannonballs have a max hit of 30 and granite cannonballs have a max hit of 35 regardless of the player's Ranged level, although their accuracy depends on the player's highest attack bonus, regardless of whether it is slash, stab, crush, ranged, or magic. It will take into consideration the highest attack bonus of one of those.
