I dont think it does, but I know you dont wanne hear that. Although you can use the new aura helmet which makes you do 15% less damage but allies 15% more. It has a huge area of effect which combines well with a summoner/partys

I have not done it myself but I have heard it DOES INCREASE ALL SOURCES OF DAMAGE.
Please verify elsewhere but I do believe that it does OP.

I don't believe so as the minions aren't wearing the ring. The rule of thumb is it won't effect minions unless specifically stated. However, I could be wrong.

(emphasis mine) You're not.
A Belt granting %Physical Damage doesn't increase the Physical damage your Minions deal. Le Heup is no different; you have it equipped, you get the bonus. It's simply Increased Damage like most other Damage bonuses, but it applies to everything (ie. it's really not that impressive).

Like I said before I could be wrong but I do believe that the unique ring is different. It does not increase any specific damage. It simply says the increases a percentage of damage, ALL damage.
I would love someone to prove me wrong if they have the evidence to do so. That would be great and would help out the OP.

^This. It's just common sense. Unless you are using a shield with Necromantic Aegis or have an item with mods that specifically target minions, such as Sidhebreath, none of your gear ever affects your minions. They are not equipped with the ring and do not benefit from it.
P.s. viper, you completely used 'i.e.' wrong. =p
Edit: This is the only thing I can find that says otherwise. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/341670/page/1#p2994541

except its 30 reduced damage and 15 increased damage
in other words, its useless, combined with weak base and other mods. 15% increased damage for minions is one node in the tree

I read some old posts about how magicka used to give people a spell damage point for about every 40 points of magicka. Then, if the posts are correct, it went to about 1:10.5. Meaning for every 10.5 magicka increase your spell damage would go up 1. A couple of nights ago I wanted to test this, as I'm trying to build the best mag sorc dps I can. I removed all my gear and equipped just 1 item that gave 840 magicka I think from an enchant. My spell damage only went up 10-points! So basically for every 84-points in magicka increase I only got 1 point in spell damage increase. I was wondering if this was a recent change and if anyone else is seeing the same results? Where can I find an official description of how magicka affects spell damage both for the current patch and the one coming? (In case it's changing) Thanks in advance for any feedback. If magicka does not give a significant amount of spell damage, then it seems like a better option for dps on a mag sorc would be magicka enchant on all armo with maybe thief or apprentice mundus stone in all divine traits instead of magicka enchants on the big pieces of armor with infused (to give even more max magicka). The DPS would be better getting the max out of the spell damage or spell crit mundus stones rather than trying to add another several hundred to couple thousand max magicka?
